Do you have to drop the tank to remove the fuel pump, or is there an access hole? Thanks!

Tank removal, no access covers on Grand Ams.

Hi Buddy,
Yes you will have to pull the fuel tank to get to the fuel pump. It makes it alot easier if you drop the exhaust too, but you don't have to. Its not really that bad of a job. The only tool you will need besides wrenches and sockets is a fuel line release tool. You can get one for about $8 or $9 bucks at the parts store. Good Luck!
