Radiator cooling fans constantly running. Like if the a/c was running. Checked relays, fuses even changed the coolant temp. sensor. But did noticed that in the mornings while the car sits overnight and start the car the fans stay off. But when the engine reaches normal operating temp, the fans are back on again and stay on every time I start the car. Any suggestions

Thanks:banghead:

Something is commanding them on, a bad pressure switch or wiring to it in the hvac can do this, a bad relay also. Are you sure you changed the cts not the temp sender?

Thanks for your reply. I will check the pressure switch. The sensor that I believe that I changed is near the throttle body on the intake manifold toward the firewall. That is the only senor that I could find so far. I know GM in 95 especially Buick Lesabre did a lot of changes toward 96, But if you know the location of these sensors (Temp and Coolant) please let me know. I will get back to you on the coolant fans.

Thanks

The fan relays are controlled by the PCM, which needs proper feedback from the CTS (2-wire sensor) I hope this helps.

Let us know what you find.

Just a little tip; "1995 Buick Lesabre" is not a question or a description of a problem. Especially in a Buick Lesabre Forum.

Not bad, just drives me crazy.

Chris.

No problem Shep, I know the feeling, and not sure I would have the patience to do that anymore, I made that pic 3-years ago! :grinyes:
