Computer Dispossal

I have a 92 Grand Marquis and I have had it with the 4.6L and computer.
Is it possible to put an older 302 or 351W in the car and get rid of the computer?

im thinking the same for my 91' i want to get an old 351-cleveland in it (1972) re-built of course. i am wanting to know the fit. i know that they came with the 5.8L motors in them but the 351-c is a larger block (still a small block though) than the regular 351-windsor. any thoughts??????
