service engine egr code

Took my car to advanced auto and got code p0401. Egr error. Anyone know nething about this? I wanna keep my car healthy. I love it

egr valve blocked take off and clean it disconect battery so code erases if code comes back up your egr is no good. shouldnt effect the engine to much might waste more gas thats about it
