The car has had an issue since the day we bought it. First I noticed that it would die when making a sharp turn like into a parking place. Battery light has always been and on/off thing. We did have to change the timing belt last year. Last week my bright daughter tells us her car wont start. After my husband pulls the battery out and has it checked he finds out she left the car not in park. Okay so after we got all that figured out, the next couple of days it starts wanting to die a lot. Mainly like when waiting in traffic or pulling in and out of parking lots. My husband changed the alternator, battery light went out for good and it ran good for one day. Then today it started stalling again. So, so far we have changed the timing belt, alternator, plugs, and fuel filter. Any other ideas?

Replace the IAC (idle air control valve). It's on the top of the throttle body.

Crankshaft Positon Sensor (CKP) probably is bad or the wiring connector going to it is dirty. It acts off a magnetic sensor with low voltage and if the connector is dirty it won't relay this information to the computer.
