location of knock sensor on 96 burban ?

On the passenger side, forward of the starter, below the exhaust manifold, screwed into the side of the block. single wire going to it.

No, its not under there. I just helped my brother-in-law put a new "R" engine in his Tahoe. I took the knock sensor off the old engine and put it on the new engine. Its right where I said it was.
