hi i have a 94 f-150. I have changed muffler and catalac converter. Still at the E-test they say they are not getting a reading.. Any suggestions on why?

How do you not get a reading. do you mean at the tail pipe, or with the scanner hooked up? Have you disconnected the battery for more than 5 mins. recently?

How does it not read 4 different gases w/ the engine running? I think you are confused about something. If there was nothing coming out of the pipe, the engine would stall.

That dose not sound right they need to be reading i am with dfordski (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=597024) on this one. have you try the o2 senor don't think that would do it but you never know.you could always Flip Over Read Directions Good luck
