2000 TL running rough intermittently

My son has a 2000 TL with about 95k miles, we just got it and he says it runs rough and low RPMs after running errands, when it's warm. Then after a few minutes it will run normally, I'm think a bad coil pack but I haven't gotten up to his college town to check it out.

Anyone else experienced the same kind of problem? I'd think if it was a bad plug or plug wire, the problem would not be intermittent, whereas a coil pack could run good and bad depending upon engine temp. I don't know about a bad fuel injector, I'd say probably not, seems it would also not be intermittent.

I also got an 2000 Acura 3.2 TL. Did you get any Check Engine Light (CEL) indication? Get an OBD II reading if you have one, or get a diagnostic. I suspect you have a malfunctioning sensor, probably the temperature.
