94 Jimmy voltage guage problem

on my jimmy(vin"W") vortec I started to notice my voltage guage acting funny, when I start it, it runs for about 10 seconds then the guage decides to move up to where it should be, but when first started it doesnt move, the vehicle is supposed to a reman alternator on it when I got it. Are these known for faulty guages?

Forget what dash gauge is showing and doing.
Always check voltage at battery.
What is battery voltage key on and then engine running.

With a volt/ohm meter.

Some parts places will give you a free battery and charging system check.

I will have it checked at autozone this weekend, its not giving my any problems and didnt do it all yesterday so I will have checked on Saturday.
