My running lights were not working and I found out that i had a headlight out. I fixed it, now all the lights work. Now the DRL indicator on the dash is not lighting up during the day (while the running lights are on). Does something need to be reset? Did the bulb blow coincidentialy? and if so can someone explain how to get to it? (easiest way to get dash apart). Thanks for any info.

Took dash apart. Rather easy by the way. found out it was a blown bulb. called dealership, they can't order just one of these bulbs, they have to order a whole instrument cluster (or maybe the guy was just too *uckin lazy). Anyway, on to my search for this weird looking bulb.

What does the bulb look like? I'm betting the parts guy was just lazy. Many of the newer GM gauge pod bulbs can be replaced with Wagner number PC118 (available at your local NAPA store).

Thank you for the info. My next step is to check all the local parts stores starting with NAPA. Hopefully I won't have to call GM. A dash bulb isn't a big deal to most people, but, I'm one of those who needs everything to work all the time. Can you say "anal retentive"? Thanks again.
