Intake Problem!

I am replaceing my fuel pressure regulator and i have noticed i have a lot of oil in my intake manifold.Any body Know why?
I have a 98 Chevy k1500 with 5.0L with 245,000 miles

Oil in your intake?
Dark colored build up is normal due to the EGR system.
If you have oil though, maybe try replacing the PCV valve.
