I have a 3" lift kit on my '01 XJ and the rear end sits lower than the front end what can i do to level this and where can i get these parts. I have new shocks all the way around so i know it isn't them. Thanks

What lift kit is it? Is it a full leaf pack or just an AAL? How much lower does the back sit?

it is a skyjacker lift kit, with AAL on the rear. it sits about 1-2 inches lower.

Have you actually measrured the diference or is it more of an optical illusion due to the body lines etc. I dunno. Just a thought , either way you want to raise the beck an inch or two. I ran accross www.rocky-road.com (http://www.rocky-road.com) and I loved the info and little things offered to raise the front or rear an inch or two. There is the idea that even though you have an aal lift, are the origonal springs used with the lift or were they all replaced. That might attribute to some sag. You can also add a shackle extension. That wil provide an inch and a half. You can also make or buy some blocks if you don't already have any to get an inch or two. I LOVE JEEPS!!!! DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT FELLAS!!!! ... or ladies if you're out wheelin around too!!

Not a huge fan of blocking unless it's part of a complete designed kit as this changes many alignment angles, especially on the front. Springs are what determine your ride height.

True, you should always aim for a balanced lift that works for the type and leval of wheelin wyou want to do. I only want a three or foue inch lift because I am a beginner and I dont heve money to go bigger and big things break in a big way, so I have to be conservitive etc. etc.

have a 98 jeep cherokkee with i guess 3" lift kit. The problem is that when i make a stop and then go it seems to jolt from the rear when i advance...its got a 3" block under the leaf springs and like a 4" shackle..also its got some spacers for the shock absorbers on the rear...could it be the shackles? Any ideas are appreciated. Thanx!
