hello all, just wondering if anyone has ever done this themselves? i understand you wont be able to help me with my particular starter, but i was wondering how hard it is to get to all the needed wires in the car??
any advice/tips will be most appreciated! thanks in advance

Yes, and oh man!
If the starter has an aftermarket alarm, Its going to be worse.
Not to mention interfacing it to work correctly with the current factory alarm is going to be tough.
It can be done though.

tim, i was reading on another forum that you ordered one that had an antenna you had to run up the steering column the wrap the "loop" around the key cylinder. did the steering wheel have to come off for this, to get all the plastic around the column off?

Nope, it went in without removing the steering wheel. The key cylinder had to be removed though, I just followed the directions in the ignition switch/harness R&R writeup in tips and maintenance.
