I went online thinking it'd be easy to find information on disposing of coolant properly...and as it turns out, I got crazy answers from search engines...including, taking it to a lab to have it tested first lol. Can someone just tell me the proper way to get rid of this stuff? Thanks

A lot of municipalities have hazardous waste collection services where they take old paint, oil, batteries etc. They will take coolant. If not, a local service station /garage should take it.

Jiffy Lube or any oil place will take it.

Do they charge for this service? I've got 10 gallons of auto trans fluid I need to make disappear...

Nope. Just walk in, sign a little form saying what you brought and that's it.
