1988 Ford F150 slave cylinder

Am needing some suggestions on how to change out the slave cylinder on my truck. Was hoping to do it at the house. I was just having to add fluid every few days. Am now having to stop on my way home to add just to go 20 miles

Four speed tranny or five speed tranny? With the five speed you have to pull the transmission as you have an internal slave cylinder. With the four speed, a relatively minor job as you have an external slave cylinder.

Thanks ours is internal. Was hoping the shops were just wanting the money but guess not
