jerks when stopping

I just replaced the seal and changed trans fluid now car jerks when coming to a stop, why?

If it does it when you are applying the brakes, your brake rotors are warped and need resurfacing. If you can take them off yourself, you can have them turned for $15-$25 at most brake shops. Otherwise it'll be more expensive.

You might have used the wrong fluid.. it depends on the year, some use ATF3 and some ATF4. You might give your local Dodge dealer a call to find out. My car used to jerk when stopping, like it shifted a little late when stopping. Since I had to replace the engine, I went ahead and replaced the seals on my trans..and I used ATF4. I also put in 8 and a half quarts..the trans only holds 9. If you just replace the pan and filter it is around 4 and a half.
