1999 chevy silv 4.3 2wd...kick and bucks while accelerating

I have a 1999 chevy siverado 2wd 4.3l.When accelerating it wants to kick and buck....but not all the time.Also there are times when it will die while accelerating and occasionaly hard to start?:screwy:Any ideas?

First check for Mass Air Flow Sensor (located next to the air filter/air box) make sure it's clean - handle carefully as you clean it. Second, check your fuel filter (replace it). If you ares sure the spark plugs and wires are good - looks like a fuel pump replacement.
