Do the rear doors have speakers?

According to the Scosche Industries site.
That's what fits in the rear doors.

Has anyone installed an aftermarket system or radio in their Park Ave?

I'd love to see some pics or hear about the install.

I've collected a few pieces to install. Waiting for a break in the weather to throw it all in. Kenwood w I pod controller, thumbdrive, CD, some speakers, 2 10" subwoofers and a couple amps.

The Ultras (97-05) definitely have the rear door speakers. I think it was an option for the base model. In 2000, the rear deck speakers, which are the "subwoofers" of the system, were upgraded with much heavier magnets.

I think the component set in the front doors is the "jewel" of the system. I put a nice Pioneer unit in with the stock speakers (6-speaker front component and rear deck, not the 9-speaker) and it sounds very good IMO.

I drive a 97 Base but it has the upgraded speaker package. The upgraded sound system comes complete with 9 speakers and an external amp. I've slowly replaced many of the factory speakers with aftermarket models and had great success. The speakers that are located in the rear doors are the same size as the front doors. I've really wanted to install an aftermarket stereo in my car but enjoy using the steering wheel controls too much so I've opted not to do it for the time being. If you need a help installing anything stereo related let me know. I've got a full set of schematics concerning the the PAs stereo system.

I puchased a unit on e-bay (made by PAC-TECH or something like that) that allows me to use the steering wheel controls with my Pioneer head unit (the head unit has to have this capability with a jack on the back). The buttons can be programmed to do what you want; I have one of the steering wheel buttons switch the source. It actually was fairly easy to install, but it looked pretty complicated at first.
