I figure he must have gotten the molds somewhere or work for Mercedes and stolen them, because that body is flawless.

It is made in Poland. In another website, somebody translated what he said in his original website. He said the car dimension is exact to the original SLR. He did all the measurements during a show of the SLR (I don't know how he do that).
The front light is molded by a company. They have the brackets and so the lights can be duplicated easily now. He also said the most difficult part of the car is making the side and rear windows.
I think if he get the 'turbine-like' wheels, people would have thought it's an original SLR.
