Welcome to AF!
Replace the spark plugs and ignition wires. Run a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in a tank of gas. Check the inside of the distributor cap for carbon tracks.

As above it could be a lean misfire. Check the hoses around the intake for a vacuum leak. Check the PCV and related hoses for a leak. Have you got a vacuum gauge? 17 inches or less indicates a lean.......

Hay thanks everyone for your help im taking the truck back tomorrow to get this sorted out Ive tried everything i can at home with the tools i have but i do think there is a vacuum leak can sorta hear it when you rev it up a little and at first take off its got to be something to do with the new reman engine install or the reman distributor cause the old engine idled great just crank bearings starting to go bad but again thanks everyone for your help this truck was my grandpas so it means a lot a i cant stand for it not to run right.

Who would have guessed a reman. distributor would be bad? Thanks for coming back and letting us know what was wrong. Your Grandpa would have been proud.
