Fuel Lines Behind Throttle Body

I have a 96 blazer 4.3 l vortec. Does the RAISED side of the little bracket that pushes the fuel lines into the top of the plenum have to face up or does it face down?

rephrased. There is one side of the bracket that has a raised end...and the other side is nearly flat. I dont remember which side faces down.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Flat side up.
And fit the large side to the larger line.

That's exactly what I thought! I am having an issue with the lines though. I can't get the lines if far enough in order to get the nuts on the bolts to secure the bracket! What could be the cause or what's restricting the lines from going completely in?

There is several plastic and rubber o rings in there wher the line goes.
Make sure one of them is not catching the steel line and also twist the line around some to line it up better.

The lines just dont want to go in! I am doing this while they are completely connected. Should I disconnect the lines at the bracket near the firewall to give them more of a range of motion? It also seems like they just wont stay in possibly because of pressure or no way to release are when pushed down....

Lubricate end of line and try disconnecting the bracket.

When I replaced my intake gasket, and I put the lines back in, the O rings diddnt set right and wouldnt let them go in. Try using a flash light and looking down where they pop in and see if this is happening to you.
