While accelerating there is a rubbing noise coming from the rear end that sounds like the tire is rubbing the wheel well but that is not happening. And when I hit the gas while driving I can feel the trucks read end almost go from side to side for a sec. Like only one wheel is getting the power. And I have the diff. that if you punch it one wheel burn out. I have had the truck(6 years) I have never had to replace anything in the rear end. And from my knowledge it might be all original. Need idea where to start.

Pull the cover and have a look. It may be time for some new bearings.
I had an issue where one of my carrier bearings was bad, causing the whole carrier to shit to one side. Replacement of the carrier bearings solved the noise issue.

jack the vehicle rear wheels both of the ground check the wheel bearings pinion bearing and the U joints...open the rear diff. . these open one wheel drive diff's last forever..with proper fluid replacement..this means cover removal cleaning with mineral spririts and the use of the proper cover gasket....and gear oil...
it could also be the brake heat shields

Pulled the cover and everything is good. Jacked it up and the sound is coming from where the driveshaft meets the diff.
