In my 98 yukon i can unlock the doors using the passenger side door switch but not the drivers. I took the switch from the drivers door and was able to use on the passenger side so i know it's not the switch and has to be in the wires. Anybody know the schematics or hot wires or anything i should be looking for?

get a circuit tester and do some poking around. those door switches do act funny sometimes. in my 99 right after i swapped motors out, the doors would lock themselves when i hit a bump. after it really aggravated me for awhile, i opened the drivers door as far as it would open, grabbed it with both hands and slammed it shut with all i had!!!! guess what,,,, hasnt happened since and been a yr!!! lol took a friends pass side door panel apart on a 98, put it back, all worked. 2 days later lock didnt work. another 2 days, lock worked and has since.
i do know aftermarkets sell a lot of those switches,,, just sayin. maybe u could check the connection that lets u remove the door. cant remember for sure but i think its inside a panel, by the e brake. also check where wire plugs into the switch. good luck!!!
