just a followup if anyone in the future has this problem. went back and pulled and checked all fuses. pulled switch from overhead console and checked continuity between poles with switch activated in each direction. checked ok. then listened to my wife and disconnected battery and reconnected. as bad as i hate to admit, problem fixed.

MWILKY,
Looks like I'm having the same sunroof problems with my 2000 Yukon. Just quit working and fuses seem to look OK. I too wanted to check the switch in the overhead console, but I'm unclear as to how to access it without breaking something in the process. Does the larger plastic cover simply snap on place, or is there a trick to getting it removed? Too many times I've pried at things that unfortunately went South and a little bit of information would have helped greatly.
Thanks for anything you and shed some insight on.
Regards,
George

I feel kind of silly, but give your wife a kiss from me. I disconnected the battery, let it sit for a while, reconnected, and the sunroof now works fine.
She's a genius.
Thanks again.
