How many Solstice coupes?

I saw a red Solstice coupe on the freeway in the San Fernando Valley about six weeks ago. It was GORGEOUS, kind of like a mini-Bentley sports coupe from behind.

I wondered how many made it out the door before Pontiac production ended, and just tonight I thought of posting the question here.

I'm one of those people who prefer the Sky's styling details, but I think the coupe was a Solstice exclusive. So how many? A handful? Might be a future Barrett-Jackson auction star!
