Howdy,
I have a 91 Full size Blazer, the other morning while driveing to work, first the dashlights went out.... Then the headlights went out. I assumed it was a bad HL switch..:shakehead It was not, found a blown fuse for the dashlights so those work. I just can't figure out why the headlights wont work.:screwy: Checked the fuses, all are OK now.... any ideas what to look for.. Hope you guys can help............... thanks
Update......
Un fricken believable.... I pulled the headlights on wanting to check the high beam indicator, low and behold the lights come on and all seems to be well. I feel like such a dumbass......... such is life....

your vehicle has a common problem with those headlights..the pins on the rectanglar lamps are of such poor quaility that the get corroded fast...also those fingers are very thin...with a good cleaning, wire brush,,,coat these metal contacts with dieletric grease...this should keep this good for a time...you may notice that these headlights are brighter as well now..
if you replaced these lamps with the higher output type they fail after only 2 years more wattage means shorter life...
