aerostat won't crank

While running along just fine, the van knocked off. It wouldn't start, totally dead. hooked up jumpstarter, still dead, starter doesn't make any noise at all. The lights,etc work, but motor is totally dead. Any suggestions, advice, etc will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Diamond jim:screwy:

I suspect your ignition switch is bad. You can run a positive lead from the battery to the small connecter marked s on the starter. If it turns over you have either a bad switch or a problem with the wiring going to the solenoid. If you have a manual transmission check the clutch switch. If you have an automatic transmission check the safety neutral switch.
