99 vw passat abs,brake,oil,ding noise

when i crank the car the brake light starts flashing followed by 3 loud dinging noises, then when i put it in drive the oil light starts flashing followed by 3 more loud dinging noises as soon as the oil light comes on the tach and temp gauge quits working, it doesnt do it every single time i crank it up but is becoming more often now, the temp gauge occasionaly works and when it does work it is not running hot. Checked oil, brake fluid and all that Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!:screwy:
