tail light and idle ?'s

I have a 98 ssei which needs a tail light replaced,it is in the trunk lid and i need to know the easiest way to get to the bulb in order to replace. Also in the last few days it has been idling very erratic,and the boost gauge bounces around alittle on idle also???? thanks
