So heres my question. Can you actually change the tranny filter on this year model civic?( 99 civic dx)
if yes... how to do so? and how many quarts of tranny fluid does this civic have or need for a change?(i don't have manual)
any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Go to the parts store and ask for a filter and gasket kit. If the sell them it can be done normally they can also tell you how much fluid you will need.
Make sure to get Honda approved fluid.

I'm almost certain that there is no transmission filter on your car. As far as fluid capacity, I'm not sure. Try calling a nearby dealer and asking them. I would use only genuine Honda transmission fluid or even have the dealer do it.
