When I slow down to either stop or make a turn the motor dies but i can start it right back up and it runs fine going down the road, until the next time i have to stop or make a turn, and then it dies again. Also, sometimes when I start the car up for the first time that day it wont start unless i give it a little gas as im cranking it, then other times it will start up for the first time that day just fine without touching the gas. Any ideas on what the problem may be? I have also ran 3 cans total of Seafoam thru the tank and it hasnt helped the problem at all. Also, the car isnt throwing any codes..Please help!

the problem may be the IAC..idle air control..this is in the throttle body where the rubber air duct connects to the intake manifold...with this removed and using throttle body cleaner and a tooth brush gently clean this electrically controlled valve....then clean the throttle body bore that this sets into ...do this when the engine is cold so that the cleaner can set for a time and not evaporate..then work the chemical into this carboned up area...do not force any thing ,,, or try to move this valve .
on install put a drop of oil on the O ring seal and tighten the screws..
do not use carb cleaner as this will damage the seal and the internal IAC motor....as well as other componets..
this componet regulates the idle ...when the idle drops a/c. power steering .,,,cold start ...this will keep idle running to prevent stall..
I clean this every 20-30,ooomi ...before it gets to be a problem..

good luck ..this is quite common with idle rpm regulation..some use carb cleaner which causes expensive repairs...do this when ever the idle does not stay steady when turning the steering wheel...
thanks for your posting of the results ...

Yeah jcat, I cleaned the IAC and the throttle body with throttle body cleaner and then drove the car about 100 miles and it didnt stall the first time. Before I cleaned it, it would stall just about everytime I slowed down to make a turn or came to a stop. So thank you very much as that seems to have fixed it..
