1990 LX 5.0L Heater Problem Fixed!

I found and fixed the heater problem I described in the post "90 LX 5.0L Low/No Heat and Radio Display Issue". The lack of heat was the result of low coolant level which was caused by a leak in the timing chain cover gasket. At first I thought the leak was coming from one of the small hoses on the water pump, but upon closer inspection I found water trickling from behind the water pump. I then thought that I had a cracked block, thank God it was just the gasket. Took me a day and a half to replace it, replace the thermostat, replace the water pump, change the oil, and flush the coolant system; but now I have good heat and no gurgling noise!
