new systems?

just wondering if any1 has heard anything about new systems coming out? i remember a few years back, there was PS2 GameCube and Xbox all being developed, anything else in the works now?

all those systems are out, where have you been.

anyway, im sure all the major companies have something in the works, but ps3 is the only thing ive actually heard of.

what?!?!?!?!! i definitley know they have been out for sometime now, i was just saying that all three were in the works around the same time, and i was asking if any1 knows of any in the works now

lol it just seemed the way you said it that, you just heard of these things, but like i said ive only heard rumors of PS3, and that Gran Tursimo 4 will be on it.

they are in the making of a PS3 it's going to be like 10xfaster than the xbox, but at the same time xbox is rummored to have started the xbox 2
it's going to be amazing too. The thing with the ps3 is that it's basically going to be an online machine, so i've heard. it's also going to be released in 2005 unless xbox 2 comes out sooner than they are going to release it sooner. The ps3's processor is made up of the new thing they call cell processores. Hundreds of tiny proceses in one normal size procesor so it's like have hundreds of computer in one processor. It's going to be great. but I just bought an xbox and it basically the same as ps2 so they will probably be close the PS3 and XBOX 2. The official statement from X-Box is that they are planning on releasing the X-Box 2 in 2006. Playstation has also announced 06 to remain competetive, and it can be assumed that nintendo will be in there somewhere. Playstation is using cell technology, which allows it to use different processors for each game component (ex. colors, textures, sounds, music, etc) instead of having one processor run all of it. XBox is going to be runing standard intel chips, and the video cards for both are still up in the air. So far Nintendo has released next to nothing on their next console. Also, Playstation has a handheld video game system coming out, with a back lit display, and a usb hookup so that you can download digital music, etc. It will use a memory stick to save game data, and will have a rechargable battery. It will have a type of minidisk as a media format. Several months ago xbox was contemplating a handheld, but there has been no word since. I'll post again tomorrow, after I've re-read my info and can give y'all some more facts.
