I just had my heater hoses replaced and within 15 miles of leaving the shop I got a check engine light with and a PO410 Code. I suspect the mechanic dislodged some fitting or connection when making the repair. What should I be checking for? This is the first time I've ever had this code come up.

If this PO410 code (secondary air injection system) is in a GM vehicle, it will require a scanner check to locate the fault properly.
There is a few hoses, pump, electrical components, etc. to check.
Personally, if the engine was running fine before the work was done I'd return to the shop and ask to have him check it over.

It sounds like sabotage, check for a loose connector, or bad fuse.
