Its an SFI system...

Fuel injectors and connectors changed in the 01 area...

Not sure what answer you are really looking for...

Are you an amateur auto repairer or pro?

The OTC/SPX company makes fuel injection system pulse testers and noid light kits that covers many fuel injection systems so it should cover GM PFI, Ford TBI, Geo TBI, Bosch PFI, GM TBI, GM SCPI, Bosch 2 and Multec 2. See link below. Also, these kits come with an extension cable. Personally I wouldn't waste any money on a noid light kit but they come in handy if you make a living off of repairing cars. I use a simple 12 volt test light with prod or a digital multimeter.

On typical GM fuel injection systems one side of the fuel injector coil is hot when ignition is ON and then the PCM provides a low on the other side of the coil at the right time and duration to make the injector spray so you get a pulsing effect with what ever test equipment you use. Better known as fuel injector pulse width modulation.

I know I've seen it before but what 12 volt lamp would I use? or at what range would I use my fluke meter?
