93 Vic Water Pump Thread

I have a 93 crown victoria that I am trying to replace the water pump. The problem is the fan clutch hex. I spoke with Napa and Oreilly's and they told me it was a left handed thread. Well it didn't move. I looked on here and someone wrote that it "turns counter clockwise". I am guessing that means it is indeed a right hand thread. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes it is a right hand thread. My trick is to put a large wrench on the hex part and smack the end with a dead blow hammer. That breaks the torque and then you can just spin it off by hand.
