Radio Problem

I bought a Citroen Xsara 2000 model recently 2 weeks back.
Problem: The radio always shows "END". I have the radio code but I don't know how to enter it. I tried remove the radio completely and unplugged it. Still the radio is not asking for the radio code. Please help.
