Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 5

kit: Tamiya Lancer Evolution 5 WRC + Evolution 6
Paint: Mitsubishi P85 (Phoenix red)
Modifications: Evo 5 body, interior/chassis from Evo 6, wheels and decals from Fujimi Evo 5

The work involved on this one is not as intense as my Evo 4 and TME, since it is basically turning a WRC car into street. The exhaust tip was turned aluminum tube. Windows are from my old Tamiya Evo 6 repolished and covered with future floor wax.(by this point the old Evo 6 has nothing but the basic chassis left and the body poorly painted with testors metallic blue, will post pics if requested....RIP heroic old 6)

Other mods include the street stock hood duct and some detailing parts. Fujimi wheels were converted into the pin style wheels.

Excellent build! This is exactly how I want to build a street evo5. I thought the fujimi OZ wheels will look undersized, but it turns out ok. Good job!
