You may have a trunk release button in the glovebox. Open the glovebox and look to the left. Our 1999 LS has one in addition to the one on the key fob.

And welcome to AF.

oh i tired that and it doesnt have a button in the glove box. and i dont wanna buy a new remote because the car is gettin totaled out. this makes no sense to not have a button in the car or latch and then i crawled thur the lil center whole in the back seat. and their is not locked in t trunk latch either.

Since the car is being scrapped go back through the rear passenger seat pass through panel. Pull the cable off the back of the lock cylinder and pull hard on cable. The cable goes to the truck latch mechanism and should then release.

Since you can already get inside, you can unlock the trunk with a wide flat-blade screwdriver at the latch.

The lock cylinder can be removed and inexpensively keyed or re-keyed (if you have one) by a locksmith.
