Integra for $490; I bought it!

So much for my killer negotiating skills. The price of $490 did include delivery. The guy showed up here at work around 6 PM with the car on a trailer.
I now have a 1991 Acura Integra with no front fenders, a jacked up bumper, and a bent hood in my company parking spot. I put my car cover over it, so maybe my boss won't complain.
I'm going to straighten the front end as much as I can by parking it perpendicular to a telephone pole, putting a 4X4 (that's a piece of wood, not a vehicle) between the straight part and the pole, and using a come-along (hand-powered winch) to pull the bent part back into place.
Then I'll take it to a body shop and have them assess the damage. If the car will never be the same, I'll take the parts I want, part the rest out, and send it to the recycler. If the unibody's not too bent up, I'll get some fenders, bumper, and hood on Ebay and start my reign of terror.

I bought my red 91 Si for $500, and the people i got it from were sending it to the junk yard! I saved it. I wish I had taken pics of it when I first got it, but it was really bad. One year later, it is a kick ass little car!

I did take some pictures for the scrap book! Too bad I don't have a scanner and my digital camera got stolen!

I know the feeling. My car was hardly running when i got it, and I was washing it and cleaning the inside every week., yeah I a freak too, LOL:D
