Ok, I finally just finished painting all the shitty little hoses, etc. in the engine bay. Does everyone do that? I mean, I like the color matched stuff, with all the hose detail, but what a pain. :) I can say, I dont have the steadiest hands either. I am thinking about just glueing the hood down, so it cannot be opened :) Does anyone else do this as well?

Yeah, the Acura kit has a lot of molded-in details, but at least they're there. For my NSX, a nice kit for sure, the detail of the engine itself is superb, but the rest of the bay is somewhat naked. :(

I use a toothpick for super-detail painting like that. :D

I try not to glue bonnets etc down unless you really have to.

I like to display as much of the model as possible.

I only have glued down one hood in my days - it was a newer model Chevy Blazer, and the engine was so ugly looking (4.3 V6) I didn't want to display it. So, I glued :). Well, the main attraction to that truck wasn't the engine anyways - I fitted a set of Jeep YJ Wheels and 4X4 gear underneath. The thing would have look awesome in real life :smoker: ......
