The bolt for the power lock actuator worked its way loose and now the actuator is laying in the bottom of the door rattling around. How do I remove the door panel for this 1999 Crown Victoria S model? Thanks for your help.

Here is the printed version. There are soms screws hidden behind small trim covers. There should be 6 screws. The panel will pick straight up when all the screws are removed. The panel has plastic hooks that fit into the door frame to hang it in place.
Position the window regulator switch plate aside.
Remove the window regulator switch plate.
Remove the screws.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Remove the screw covers.
NOTE: Use care not to damage the trim panel when removing the screws.
Remove the screws.
Remove the interior door handle cup.
Remove the screws.
Remove the front door trim panel (23942).
Disconnect the electrical connector.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Thanks again way2old, the door trim panel came off like a breeze. Upon closer inspection I discovered that the power lock actuator is riveted to the door and that somehow it broke off. Instead of paying $5 for the rivet, I used a M8X1.25X16 buttonhead bolt and a whiz nut to lock it in place. All is working wonderfully again.
Couple of months ago I believe that you told me that I can replace the door ajar switch that is mounted to the door latch mechanism without replacing the entire latch. Would you be able to get me a part number for that switch? Thanks again.........Rob

Yep you got it. I have used a 1/4 inch bolt, it works great. Button head would be even better.
