the car will idle fine.. When you hit the gas it seems like its going to die out.. It will do this for a couple seconds.. It feels like it is going to stall, but it has only stalled once.. It doesnt throw the check engine light on.. By the way it is a 2.4 auto trans..

When was teh last tune up ?
Also it could be clogged injectors, gets worse when cold out.

Try some injector cleaner, Sea Foal or Lucas is good. But any name brand would be better then none.
These injectors are prone to clogges, and freezing if water contamination is present. :2cents:

My car is doing to the same thing have you resolved this issue? Its the same car as yours I just changed the engine and its a newly developed problem. I'm going to try cleaning the IACV and maybe swap out throttle bodys

try checkin the TPS sensor or crank sensor? I hvae 99 Ga Gt 3.4 auto and once in a blue moon it will run like shit wont keep an idle seems like clogged injectors or fuel filter or bad timing the times it has happened i have just drove the SH...T out of it and it seems fine any 1 have idea wat causes that? Ive checked coils fuel pressure tps sparkplugs wires injectors and seals . When it acted up the only way to keep it runin was to stay on the gas any ! had this happen?
