1967 f250

Need help finding any and all info related to brakes, hubs, spindles, bearings etc. Any idea where to start looking for assembly drawings and repair info? My son inlaw just aquired the truck which is worth saving but he has limited funds so I get to do the work. I've found quite a bit of info but not specific to 67 which as I understand is the 1st production year for the 250? Any help would be much appreciated.

You might look on Ebay for repair manuals and other books. 1967 was the first production year for that body style F250, but certainly not for the F250.

Chiltons and "Motor" made many repair manuals for decades, back then. They are not model-specific, but they cover virtually all domestic vehicles for about 10 years prior to publication. Therefore, my 1970 "Motor" service manual covers all the Big Three auto makers vehicles plus AMC and Studebaker going back to 1960. Try to look for one that specifically covers truck servicing. But if you can't, most Ford car service procedures are applicable to your truck, with minor variations.

Fortunately, your F250 is a very straightforward vehicle. Servicing is easy and very similar to most other domestic vehicles of the time.

What I'm really searching for are more specifics like part numbers, exploded views etc. From what I gather there are different axle and wheel setups like Dana 44 or 60 which is the messed up area. Proper identification as well as disassembly with pics is what I need. Not to mention parts sources.

Usually, service manuals show service procedures, but do not list part numbers.

For exploded diagrams and part numbers, you probably will have to go to "factory parts manuals". IMO the service manual is much more valuable for working on this truck.

For the kind of detail you want, you should get a factory service manual. In the 1960's, Ford manuals were astonishingly detailed, not only in describing service procedures, but also in discussing applicable automotive design and operation principles.

There are many dealers in vintage service manuals and other literature. Some have websites, some simply sell at local swap meets, auto flea markets etc.
You can start hunting on-line for this kind of book. If you find one, chances are it will be fairly expensive.
