turn signal fuse keeps blowing

Hi i have changed my 10amp red fuse for the left right signals and rear reverse tailights for 10 times and they keep blowing engine makes big cranking noise and puff is it the new aftermarket stereo?

need info:

1. does it blow as soon as you put the fuse in with signals switch off and shifter not in reverse?

does it blow as soon as signals switched on or shifted to reverse?

basically what has to happen for the fuse to blow?

2. you crank the engine over...its backfires and won't start? Is that what your describing?

1.blows after i shift into reverse, 2.start cold engine and let idle and run and dont touch nothing 3. keep key in ignition on 2 before cranking only way my radio works could it be GM recall on the ignition fire?

2001 base automatic 2.2 3 speed

believe something is shorted on the park/neutral position switch. Unfortunately all data is showing me 2 different switches it can have and I can't decide which one it is. will keep looking

ok we are working through this...lets see it I'm getting this

1. I'm clear on the problem

2. not sure what you are describing as the problem.

3. radio only works in ignition 2 position which is run...so no radio in accessory, off and start

thanks i removed my aftermarket radio today and changed all the fuses and relays and drove about 24 miles in traffic and highway and i shut down and started car about 12 times it seems to not blow but i will let you guys know when or if it does

radio did not work before when you put key in ignition and go backwards towards driver only the wipers worked

How did you wire up the stereo?
