Auto start wants to start without me!

I have an remote auto start in my 06 Trailblazer that isn't working properly. Whenever the outside temp is below 0 it tries to start without the auto start button being pushed. It usually starts but sometimes just keeps trying to turnover without actually engaging. Most times it is after I have driven it and shut it off. I push the brake every time now because I was hoping that would help but doesn't seem to have any effect on it. Any ideas?
