Sometimes when i start my car i noticed it will almost roll forward an inch or two then kind of bounce back like it does when you first put it in park..I was parked on a slight hill today when it happened. Its not necessarily anything of concern but i was just wondering, it freaked me out once lol.

Mine does that too, always has, nothing to worry about.

are you saying just by starting the engine the transmission engages slightly ? If this is occuring I never heard or experience that ..

Probably caused by the drag in the clutch packs taking the slack out of the driveline.

The park pawl should keep the D/S from turning. I'd bet it has to do with the cooling fan clutch, probably stuck engaged... the "propeller" is pulling the car :)
