Changing SV6 Parking Light Lamp

OK, what is the trick for getting at the parking light assembly so I can change a burnt out lamp? I think the same guy who designed the Montana Fog Lights came up with the SV6 Parking Lights.

Looking at the van (picture) the side marker is within the headlight assembly. Yes? If so, that should come out in a somewhat similar fashion as the older ones.

Rear light assembly looks the same as the older models.

I scratched my head on this one as well but I now know the secret. (And I didn't find the answer in the owner's manual like some of you.)

You remove the headlight assembly. It's very easy and quick to do and gives you complete access to the parking/turn signal lamp.

A single bolt and one clip-in retaining rod and the assembly is ready to pull straight out. Wiggling it a bit helps to release a ball and socket clip on the back side.

When the bulb is replaced and you're ready to put it back together just keep an eye on that gasket that runs along the top side of the headlight assembly.

It's achingly simple but area dealers charge at least a half hour labor to do this job that takes five minutes tops.

The bulb is an amber 3157.
