Replace rear struts on 91 celica

winter in Ohio 2010. 19Celica, 140K, winter hit and rear rides EXTREMELY rough. Looking for info/help in removing the rear seat to access strut top mount. Where is the release for the bottopm half of the rear seat assembly? Can't find a handle or trip or anything to release the very front of the bottom of the rear seat?? Where is the trip/release located? if its broken off how would I releaee that seat?
