Excellent videos. Great instructions on how not to do things.
It's sad the guys who built a 620 hp car did not have the sense to install a basic ballistic blanket around the clutch. Responsible guys do this all the time. That would have contained the pieces and reduced the damage. Given the car was totalled due to the damage, it would have saved the car, too.
The driver is really lucky he did not get his foot cut off.
OMG I cannot tell you how many things went wrong in the ZO6 burnout.
1. What the hell was Jeff the cameraman doing walking in FRONT of the car when the guy was trying to burn out? Thats the most dangerous spot.
2. It was obvious right from the start that the tires were not spinning.... why did nobody tell the driver this at the start. True, it would not have made much difference, the clutch was probably bad right from the start.
3. It may have worked if they had put some water down first before burning out
